Object API name: dryad__Receipt__c

A Receipt is an issued donation receipt or acknowledgment. The app creates it from one or more gift transactions. Its Receipt # (the record name) is assigned automatically (see Receipt Numbers) and can't be edited. Most values are copied from the gift when the receipt is created (see What Gets Copied to a Receipt). Receipts are corrected by voiding and replacing them, not by editing.

How to read the field tables: the Field column shows the label you see on screen, with the field's API name (the name used by admins, reports and integrations) underneath it. The Data Type column uses Salesforce's own terms. A type that starts with "Formula" is calculated automatically and can't be edited. Some fields carry a tag, explained in Tags Used on This Page.

Receipt Version dryad__Version__c	Picklist	"Original Receipt" the first time a gift is receipted. "Replacement Receipt" when it replaces an earlier receipt for the same gift. See Voids and Replacements.
Receipt Status dryad__Status__c	Picklist	"Receipted" for a valid receipt. "Voided" once it has been cancelled, either with the Void Receipt button or automatically when a replacement is issued.
Receipt Issue Date dryad__Issue_Date__c	Date	The date the receipt was created. Set automatically.
Receipt Issue Date dryad__Issue_Date_Formatted__c	Formula (Text)	The issue date written in the Date Format chosen in Receipt Settings, ready to print. Used in the sample templates and in the default .pdf file name. See Templates and Merge Fields.
Receipt Name dryad__Receipt_Name__c	Formula (Text)	A copy of the Receipt #, so the number can be placed in a template as a merge field.
Receipt Year dryad__Receipt_Year__c	Text	The tax year the receipt belongs to, taken from the gift's transaction date. For a consolidated receipt, it's the year of the earliest gift.
Receipt Voided Date dryad__Voided_Date__c	Date	The date the receipt was voided. Set automatically when it is voided or replaced.
Receipt Voided Date dryad__Voided_Date_Formatted__c	Formula (Text)	The voided date written in the Receipt Settings Date Format, ready to print.
Receipt Delivery Status dryad__Delivery_Status__c	Formula (Text)	Where the receipt is in the delivery process: "Creating .pdf File", "To be Emailed", "To be Printed", "Emailed", "Printed", "Emailed & Printed" or "N/A". See Delivery Status.

Donor Information

Donor dryad__Donor__c	Lookup (Account)	The donor (person or organization account) the receipt is for. Copied from the gift.
Donor Name dryad__Donor_Name__c	Text	The donor's name as printed on the receipt. Copied from the gift when the receipt is created.
Donor First Name dryad__Donor_First_Name__c	Formula (Text)	The first word of Donor Name, for greetings in templates (for example, "Dear Jane"). For an organization it is the first word of the organization's name.
Donor Email dryad__Donor_Email__c	Email	The email address the receipt is sent to. Copied from the gift when the receipt is created.
Donor Address dryad__Donor_Address__c	Text Area	The donor's mailing address on a single line. Copied from the gift.
Donor Address Multiline dryad__Donor_Address_Multiline__c	Text Area	The donor's mailing address on several lines, for the address block on the .pdf. Copied from the gift.
Donor Receipt Delivery dryad__Donor_Receipt_Delivery__c	Picklist	How the donor wants to receive receipts: "Email" or "Mail". Copied from the donor's account preference. Affects the Receipt Delivery Status.
Recipient Account Id dryad__Recipient_Account_Id__c	Formula (Text)	Special case Identifies the person who receives the email: the donor if they are a person, or the organization's Receipt Recipient. Used only when emailing with Dryad Mailer.
Recipient Contact Id dryad__Recipient_Contact_Id__c	Formula (Text)	The same person as Recipient Account Id, but as a contact. Used when emails are sent through Salesforce, so the email is linked to the right person.

Gift and Amounts

Gift Amount dryad__Gift_Amount__c	Currency	The amount of the gift. For a consolidated receipt, the total of all the gifts it covers.
Receipt Amount dryad__Receipt_Amount__c	Currency	The amount the donor can claim for tax purposes: the gift's receiptable amount after the tax rules are applied. For a consolidated receipt, the total. See Amounts and Tax Rules.
Advantage Amount dryad__Advantage_Amount__c	Currency	The value of any advantage (benefit) the donor received in return for the gift. For a consolidated receipt, the total.
Advantage Description (EN) dryad__Advantage_Description_EN__c	Text Area	English description of the advantage. Copied from the gift. Used in Advantage Text (EN).
Advantage Description (FR) dryad__Advantage_Description_FR__c	Text Area	French description of the advantage. Copied from the gift. Used in Advantage Text (FR).
Gift Type dryad__Gift_Type__c	Text	The gift's type (for example, "Individual" or "Organizational"). Copied from the Gift Transaction's Gift Type.
Designations dryad__Designations__c	Text	Special case The funds or programs the gift supports, as a comma-separated list of names. Filled from the gift's Gift Transaction Designations when Concatenate Designations is on in Receipt Settings. Otherwise it's only filled if an admin adds a field mapping for it, for example from the Gift Transaction's Designations field. See the Designations on Receipts article.
Designations with Amounts dryad__Designations_with_Amounts__c	Text	Special case Each designation with its total amount, one per line, in the donor's language format. Filled only when Concatenate Designations is on. Up to 255 characters, ending with "..." when shortened.
Description dryad__Description__c	Long Text Area	Special case A free-text description. Not filled in by default. It can be filled through a field mapping and printed with a merge field.
Appraiser Name dryad__Appraiser_Name__c	Text	Special case For gifts in kind (goods rather than money) that were appraised: the appraiser's name, which CRA requires on the receipt. Copied from the gift.
Appraiser Address dryad__Appraiser_Address__c	Text Area	Special case For appraised gifts in kind: the appraiser's address. Copied from the gift.
Transaction Date dryad__Transaction_Date__c	Date	The date of the gift, for single receipts and acknowledgments. Blank on consolidated receipts, which use the start and end dates instead.
Transaction Date dryad__Transaction_Date_Formatted__c	Formula (Text)	The transaction date written in the Receipt Settings Date Format. For a consolidated receipt, shows the date range (start - end).
Transaction Start Date dryad__Consolidated_Transaction_Start_Date__c	Date	Special case For consolidated receipts: the date of the earliest gift covered.
Transaction End Date dryad__Consolidated_Transaction_End_Date__c	Date	Special case For consolidated receipts: the date of the latest gift covered.

Issuing Charity

These fields describe the charity that issues the receipt. Apart from Receipting Account, they are formulas that show the Receipting Account's details if the receipt has one, and otherwise the details in Receipt Settings (see Defaults and Overrides).

Charity Name dryad__Charity_Name__c	Formula (Text)	The issuing charity's name: the Receipting Account's name, or the Charity Name in Receipt Settings.
Charity Registration # dryad__Charity_Registration_Num__c	Formula (Text)	The charity's registration number from the tax authority, which official receipts must show.
Charity Street dryad__Charity_Street__c	Formula (Text)	Street of the charity's address: the Receipting Account's billing street, or the one in Receipt Settings.

Location Issued dryad__Location_Issued__c	Formula (Text)	Where the receipt was issued, as city and province (for example, "Montreal, QC"). CRA requires this on official receipts.
Authorized Name dryad__Authorized_Name__c	Formula (Text)	Name of the person authorized to sign receipts.
Authorized Title dryad__Authorized_Title__c	Formula (Text)	Job title of the person authorized to sign receipts.
Authorized Signature URL dryad__Authorized_Signature_URL__c	Formula (Text)	The web address of the authorized person's signature image, used to show the signature on the .pdf.

Replacements

Replacement External Receipt # dryad__Replacement_External_Receipt_Num__c	Text	Special case When the gift was first receipted in another system, that system's receipt number. Copied from the gift's External Receipt #, so the new receipt can say which receipt it replaces.

Ready-Made Text for Templates

These formulas produce a complete sentence when it applies, and are blank otherwise. Place them in a template to print the right wording automatically (see Templates and Merge Fields).

Templates, Files and Delivery Tracking

Receipt Template Id dryad__Receipt_Template_Id__c	Text	The receipt template used to create this receipt's .pdf. Chosen when the receipt is created (see Defaults and Overrides). If it's blank, the English gift template from Receipt Settings is used.
Email Template Id dryad__Email_Template_Id__c	Text	The email template used when this receipt is emailed. Chosen when the receipt is created. A receipt without one is treated as "To be Printed".
PDF Created dryad__PDF_Created__c	Checkbox	Ticked automatically once the receipt's .pdf has been created.
Last Content Document Id dryad__Last_Content_Document_Id__c	Text	For the app's use: identifies the .pdf file attached to the receipt, so that a re-created .pdf is saved as a new version of the same file. Don't edit it.
Receipt Emailed dryad__Receipt_Emailed__c	Checkbox	Ticked when the receipt has been emailed, or marked as emailed.
Receipt Printed dryad__Receipt_Printed__c	Checkbox	Ticked when the receipt has been printed, or marked as printed. A printed receipt is considered mailed.
Receipt Merged dryad__Receipt_Merged__c	Checkbox	Ticked when the receipt's .pdf has been merged with others into one file for printing.
Batch Receipt Log Id dryad__Batch_Receipt_Log_Id__c	Text	For the app's use: the Batch Receipt Log of the most recent batch job that worked on this receipt (creating the .pdf, emailing, merging or printing).
