Contact Fields
Object API name: Contact
For gifts from an NPSP household, the donor is the gift's primary contact. That Contact's receipt preferences, mailing address and email are used (see Households and Organizations). Preferences on other household members aren't read. For gifts from an organization, the Account's preferences are used instead.
How to read the field tables: the Field column shows the label you see on screen, with the field's API name (the name used by admins, reports and integrations) underneath it. The Data Type column uses Salesforce's own terms. A type that starts with "Formula" is calculated automatically and can't be edited. Some fields carry a tag, explained in Tags Used on This Page.

Donor Receipt Preferences

Email Validation

Set by the Validate Email actions, which need the Amazon connection (Named Credential in Receipt Settings) to be set up. Use it to catch bad addresses before you send receipts. |
